The shop is now owned and operated by Tommy Carr and his wife Kiki, who live in the area with their four children.

Tommy’s grandfather owned a chain of automotive repair shops in Philadelphia and passed his expertise and passion for cars onto Tommy’s dad, who opened Tommy Carr Tire & Automotive Service in 1978. Tommy grew up in the shop—first observing from his playpen then learning the trade over the years. By the age of 11, he was changing tires and working on cars.

Tommy has dedicated his life to becoming a master mechanic, building relationships with his customers, and establishing the shop as the go-to destination for honest, reliable automotive care in Chalfont and Central Bucks County.

  Great family owned company! They're honest, great mechanics, do quality work, and will take the time to explain repair issues and  recommendations. I've been having my cars serviced by Tommy Carr Tire & Auto for years, and have never been disappointed. More than once they have saved me money by digging further into an issue my car was having to find and repair the real problem, as opposed to just fixing something that seemed to be the issue.   Nick and Derek are always super helpful and are not opportunistic when it comes to assessing a problem or giving a recommendation. I came to TCT&A because a dealer gave me some rediculous recommendations for service that greatly exceeded what the manufacturer recommended.
